Guest drafts, if the same when it was at the brewery, is a shit show. I remember going up with a buddy grabbing a couple each for everyone to share, and then it's get back in line for the next release. All standing in line and no enjoying the beers with your buddies. That's why it sucks I'm not as psyched now for the local since no sours from Destihl. Because, there you can just hang out by the tents and grab a beer with minimal wait.

There's no comparison. The old parking lot at the brewpub was a punch in the face down a dark alley while VIP at Roundhouse is a steak dinner. Inside the Roundhouse (VIP only) are multiple bars, a never ending buffet, ample bathrooms and at the center, a courtyard only for the VIPs. Of the VIP deals, this one knocks it out of the park and is unlike any of the other "get in 1 hour early and have a free hotdog" set ups. Going Saturday & can't wait. Assuming they'll be selling bottles & cases of whatever they're calling it at the exit gate like last year.

Quick question about the VIP passes; the food on the perk list doesn't mention free or complementary. What's the deal there?

If it's like last year, it's all included at the buffet. If I remember right, they'd run out of one kind of food and bring out something else.

If you have VIP there's free food all day. They have special lunch and dinner buffets plus other random food they put out in between lunch and dinner. I'm hoping they have the beer floats again

Awesome! I'm going VIP tonight....can't wait! Yes, the parking lot sucked big time in the previous years!

OK....raining....silly question.....is this inside or outside? I assume outside. Any tents? We're VIP tonight, any tents in our area?

For having VIP tickets you sure don't know much about what your getting out of them tickets? Rain or shine obviously. VIP has access to the roundhouse (inside) and everything that goes with the roundhouse (bars, bathrooms, food, etc). Everything else is outside (bands, local beers and guest beers, their beer, food for the commoners, etc.) Have fun, don't think I'm going to go tonight, but might stop by tomorrow depending on the guest beer list.

Thanks! You're correct. The "details" section of HopJuiceFestival.com is piss poor. Plus the details on the ticket site doesn't help much either.
