I'm doing a Rye Saison tomorrow myself that I like to brew for "late summer to early fall" consumption.

    Pilsner
    Rye
    D2 candi syrup
    Styrian Goldings
    6% abv
    Nice burgandy color

Going to use WLP 568 (Saison Blend) for the first time as I think it will compliment the d2 nicely. The resulting beer will probably drink like a saison with an extra bite from the rye, but also have some belgian dubbel qualities (due to the d2 and yeast choice) rounding it out and adding complexity.

I'll be a team player (today). I'll be brewing an amber and I'll be finishing up some final touches on the keezer. Hopefully I'll be broke by Monday.

No brewing but will be racking our Doppelsticke Alt for some lagering, adding second round of dry hops to the Pale Ale, and dosing one of the gallon fermentors of Porter with Blue Mountain coffee, the other gallon with Evan Williams, and dropping an oak spiral into the five gallon fermentor. Brewing on Thursday, though, will be pitching a Citra/ Amarillo IIPA onto the pale ale 05 cake.

Yesterday I brewed an all Simcoe IPA that's gonna be dry-hopped with a blend of Simcoe and Columbus. Also brewed a 1 gal batch of an IPA with Centennial and EKG.

Sounds good. I've been thinking of doing a Black IPA with midnight wheat, something roasted for some color, maybe even a splash of BP, and then doing Simcoe, Chinook and Amarillo in it.

Didn't end up as dark as I wanted, but that's the point of experimenting. As long as it tastes good.
