Oh, BeerAdvocate, it's so good to be home. Drove to some of the further Giant Eagles in my area to pick up some goodies. Spent way more than I intended. On the way home, I went to merge into another lane and hit someone in my blind spot, on a super busy road. For the road we were on, the fact that we both are fine and damage is very minimal is amazing.

After we got everything sorted out with insurance info and what not, my first thoughts? One, I'm glad I didn't stop for a drink or two like planned. Smelling like alcohol could have been a recipe for disaster. Two, oh god, I hope the beer in my trunk is okay. It was. Everything is okay now, but man, do I need a beer or two or ten.

    To Start :
Didn't realize how overprice this was until I checked out. $20 for a 4-pack is insane. Not only that, but it's really not that good.

Glad everyone is ok. That's the most important thing. Beer can be replaced

Can't believe I've never had this before. Do believe I'll ever have it again. Better out there.

Painfull Death (including typo), an imperial stout that's part of a side project at De Molen called Merciless. Amazing stuff, one of the first beers to be brewed on the old installation there in about 2 years. They've finally gotten back on stride after some stouts that were sub-par imo. Their new rig seems good for low-grav beers like IPAs and sours, but their high grav monsters are just not up to this standard anymore. A real joy.

I've yet to dabble with Rivertowne, despite my pledge to try more local beers this year. Good to see a positive remark here for them. I was disappointed with my exploration into Full Point. The CBW beer I find I always old. However, I drove up to Helltown Brewery a couple months ago, and got a growler of Rapture IPA, which tasted like the old version of Flower Power, the good version.

This was a really weird purchase for me, because I have a history of hating saisons/farmhouses. However, I friggin love peach. Something told me that a Terrapin saison wouldn't give me the awful vinegar that that others have, and I was right.

To be honest, I would have been better off getting some Lindemens Peche, but, y'know, tickers gotta tick. Overall, I like this. Could be peachier. Thinking of mixing one of these with Storm King later and seeing what happens.
