    Hello All,
I am a LOVER of New Belgium's Sommersault. I just found out today that they are not coming out with Somersault as their seasonal choice this year. I know, crazy right?? Anyway, below is the description of Sommersault. Can ANYONE give me any replacement suggestions? I can't tell you how much anticipation I've had over the last few months to be drinking this beer, only to be disappointed. This is probably my absolute favorite beer. So now I have to find something comparable. I know this is the place to ask, so any suggestions are welcome....and thanks for the help!

    Body: Light - Medium
    Hops: Centennial
    Malts: Pale, Caramel + Oats
    Yeast: American Hefeweizen Yeast
    Fruits/Spice: Ginger, Apricot
Aroma: Strong grapefruit citrus and garden rose/honeysuckle aromas from Centennial hops, hint of fresh juicy peaches.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, soft texture from oats, dry crisp finish.
Flavor: Bittersweet apricot skins, fuzzy-ripe peaches, sweet grass and floral notes. Hint of ginger spice.
Visual: Clear deep golden sunshine blond. Clouds of fluffy white foam.

I think New Belgiums summer seasonals are always great. This years, Rolle Bolle, is no different. I really couldn't tell you how similar they are though. I would recommend it.

Thank you, Fargrow. Actually, we did try Rolle Bolle and really disliked it. My husband loves most beer and he didn't care for it at all. It was nothing like the flavor of Sommersault to me. I can't even understand why New Belgium released it as a "summer" beer to begin with. It didn't seem like a light flavor to me, but thank you for the suggestion.

Look for Brooklyn Summer Ale, I'm pretty sure they are distributed in Georgia. I think you'll find its a good replacement for Sommersault

Belgian IPAs don't have actual fruit in them, but there are definite fruity/spicy notes from the yeast, plus the hoppy aroma you describe. You might appreciate something in that style- such as Flying Dog's Raging Bitch.
