Damn it I'm drunk and I have to be up for work in like 6 and a half hours (I'm on Eastern time, New York). I was drinking Dewars and coke. Then I had a Ten Fidy. Then I started drinking the scotch right from the bottle. Now I'm having a room temperature Heinnieweisse. Worst part is even though I'm drunk I'm wide awake. I'm gonna have to drink more to go to sleep.

No matter how many amazing beers I try, I am shocked at how easy to get, cheap and good Hop Rod Rye is.

Ehh. Hop Rod Rye definitely wasn't amazing tonight. Really lacking hops. Must have been old. No discernable bottling date. A sweet mess with bitterness coming in at the end. Like a Lagunitas beer. I've never been too impressed with it.
I got two bottles as part of a mixed sixer and hope the second is better.

Green Flash Double Stout on the other hand is a great beer (and cheap...in San Diego anyway. $7 4-packs at Trader Joe's.) Not so cheap on the East Coast.

Had a GF West Coast IPA after finishing the yard work earlier- hit the spot! Contemplating cracking open Boulevard's Chocolate Ale here in a bit...

Nightcap is Founders Double Trouble. Bottled 1/06/12.

My last bottle from three 4-packs I bought in mid-January.

Great Divide Colette, after a long, long weekend. Very tired . . . and didn't get any work done this weekend. Boo, man. Boo. But tomorrow's a new day and a new week, right?

Dinner tonight at FFF Brewpub accompanied by Hell's Black Intelligencer (coffee/oatmeal stout), Al-Dabeyoun (Belgian Trippel/American IPA), and Dreadnaught.

The closer, an extra in a recent trade. Thanks Jordan.

Heady Topper earlier this afternoon after some yardwork, then a Yards Olde Bartholomew after dinner, which was a little disappointing. Making up for it now with a Founders Imperial Stout, which is great as always.

Finished a Noble Pils earlier. So glad I bought a sixer of that. Now drinkin another Founders Porter. Wow, the aftertaste kinda reminds me a Snickers icecream bar. Man, no one does dark beers like Founders.

Finishing up with a New Belgium 1554. My first of the style and, while I wouldn't go for it regularly, it's somewhat pleasant.
