    About time for an update:

This is the bulk of my cellar/beer library as it stands. There's another shelf of stuff ready to be drunk ASAP. These are basically the beers that can stand to have some age on them. And yes, those three IPAs should be on the other shelf

I got one of those for free from a bar. It's great for 750's, but anything else is way too loose. It's basically my Bruery rack right now.

If you look at page 1023 Section 206.12 in the Beer Hoarding Almanac you will see that it clearly states " regardless of beer type, all beer will be hoarded to admire with the eyes not the palate "

As I look at everyone's pics, it seems like BCBS is the most commonly cellared beer... Agree or disagree?

I'm pretty sure all these one off Cantillon or 3F are reserved for Dennis' regular trading partners, maybe sending out as extras. He is one of the finest BA I know, willing to put in those crazy beers just to put a smile on the recipient.

Are you cellaring the Duck Rabbit Stout or just using the box to hold bottles? I ask because I just tried that brew for the first time (I like it, tastes a lot like Guinness to me) last night. Just wondering if the three I have left would be a good candidate for cellaring - Most likely I would just buy a full six-pack for cellaring if so but I didn't really think of it as being an ideal candidate.

Sorry. It appears I had a visual bug. It was 2 pictures(someone else) smashed together. Thanks mcaulifww for the response.

Spent a couple hours last night cleaning out the basement to turn it into my cellar. Now I have plenty of room for expanding! Next step is to start recording the temperature, but its a nice cool 50 down there on a 70 degree day so I should be good.

Finally got all of my stuff together in the basement closet. Thanks to all the great BA's who have helped me with my collection over the past year!

That looks great! What are those 3 bottles on the right of the 3rd shelf?

I routinely measure my cellar's worthiness by how many of the bottles on your front line I have. Partially thanks to your Fremont love up there, I'm proudly at 5!
