Cannonball run to Alchemist/HF

I just looked up the reviews on Trip Advisor and this looks like a nice place. Not a downtown location but...

The Hotel Vermont downtown is really nice but $300ish before tax. Courtyard downtown is next nicest, probably $300 after tax. The Hilton next door has seen better days and is also $$$.

 

Along the same lines as the OP, I will be heading to VT next Friday. Just wondering if anyone knows what time of the day Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier gets their Lawsons delivery? I won't be able to get to Winooski or to Warren on Friday, so my only chance at Lawsons will be Hunger Mountain...

Also, do you need to get there within an hour or so of the delivery time to get any? Thanks in advance.

 

Mid morning usually. Depends on the day and what is delivered. Sometimes it goes real quick, sometimes it lasts through saturday.

 

i usually call around 10:15 to 10:30 - seems like the truck is always pulling in when I call.

If there is any Lawson's left on Saturday, it's not one I'm interested in. How much damn Paradise Ale did they make?

Usually, yes. But I've definitely bough Double sunshine at hunger mountain on a Saturday before. Really just depends on the week, how many bottles there were, and so on.

 

one thing I've noticed, recently anyway - if there's been a farmers market show over the weekend - there was very little to no Lawson's available the Thursday or Friday before.

 

Yes, this is definitely true. Also, not every SINGLE time, but a minor trend I've been noticing is:

Thurs/Fri before farmer's market w/ DS: little to no lawsons at stores
Saturday: Farmer's market.
Next Thurs/Friday: Paradise Pale/ Spring Fever/etc, but no DS
Thurs/Fri after that: DOUBLE SUNSHINE!!

Again, it's not like clockwork, but it seems to be happening like that lately.

 

Sorry for yet another question, but I just realized that Warren would also be an option for me, but I couldn't get there until Friday afternoon. Do they sell out the day of (on Thursdays) or do they get enough Lawsons bottles to last through Friday (or beyond)? Thanks.
