Cinnamonster Infeno not right in a wonderful way. It's an atomic fire ball candy with peppery heat sweet cinnamon seats it off.

Well, im not surprised, just don't see why they bother posting updates when they won't follow thru. They are improving with the process but I can not absorb how these types of things happen every single time and no one at there gives a shit. It's just not how business is done, bothers me.

I had fun. Got there just before 8, shared a few great beers, saw some friends. The wheat beers ranged from fantastic (chocolate) to robotussin-y undrinkable (cassis). Tripa is OK - prefer DRIPA personally. '11 Vintage Ale hasn't got any better (but, I guess at least it hasn't gotten any worse). Extraneous 10 was sweet - I think the '10 bottles taste better. Got a taste of both the braggot and the peach icewine - I thought braggot was pretty good...FES base beer is a bit thin, but I think it meshed well with raspberry truffle. Icewine was tasty, but not as tasty as the spiced from march meadness. My favorite of the morning I think was Brother Soigne in line before they opened.

If you get some of the barbeque from Detroit BBQ there, be sure to ask Tim (the big ogre looking guy) for his Alabama White Sauce. He keeps it behind the table. Tell him Mick said to ask for it.

My wife and I attended. We stayed at the sitting room. The sitting room is literally staggering distance across the street. It's an olde house very clean and nicely decked out. In short it's very comfortable. Staff at Kuhnhenn always courteous but very busy. In short we had a good time drank a lot of good beer, mead and wine.

That was fun. Made two trips there, probably stayed for eight hours total. Tried all the wheat beers went back for blueberry eisbock. Had some beef brisket, those guys make some good bbq. Overall a fun event.

Fun time! Brother Soigne was definitely the best beer of the day!

Kuhnhenn-wise, Grapefruit IPA, Chocolate Turtle, and Blueberry Play in the Hay were really solid.

Holy Shit. It feels like a midget is walking on my head while wearing golf shoes. DRIPA was amazing!! The raspberry eisbock was amazing. There were only 2 of the Wheats I didnt care for, Chamomille and one that was brewed with Currants, or something. I got there at 10:30, started drinking, and stumbled out with my allotnment and a Growler of Dripa at 3:30. P.S. The growler lasted approximately 40 minutes from the time I got to my friends house, and I was the only one drinking it. And as an added bonus we got to go to the Polish Market at 15 and Dequindre for some Pierog's and Wedding sausage. Great Day all around.

Tripa was great IMO, but I actually prefer DRIPA. The blueberry play in the hay was excellent as well.

Side note - Jim, Kyle, and John hooked up the tastings for those standing in line. Can't thank those guys enough for bringing world class brews and passing them around like it was tap water. That is what it is all about.
