John, next time you are in Lexington, you have to hang in the man cave....er...kids' cave. Plenty of legos, princess dolls, and Little People cars to go around.

Very funny, my "beer cave" also has lots of hotwheels and pokemon cards. We really need more brew places with kids zones right in the middle. Would make it so much easier. haha.

I can relate to all of the above. The next time I get a good shipment sent in, I'll let you all know. Maybe we can set up a tasting.

Rubaeus is now at Beaumont. I'm interested in trying it.

Dreadnaught and Zombie Dust were at LB Beaumont earlier today. Don't know if they are still there.

Anyone seen Rubaeus anywhere else? Beaumont is such a trek...

RuinTen is at the Beer Trappe and Richmond Road Liquor Barn. Probably other places in Lexington too.

    Shenanigans had some today.

They also had several FFF bombers: Apocalypse Cow, Panzer Wolf and Rabbid Rabbit.

I hope this thread isnt dead. As most of you know, Sweet Water is in town. I may be missing something, but why all of the excitement? I have had the IPA and the 420 several times. They are both good, but not great. Is there another type that I need to look for?

Has anyone seen the Coconut IPA from Stone around town?

Also, Enjoy By will be here the week of 8/14.

I'm a big fan of Sweetwaters IPA, but that's about it. One of the early IPAs to get me hooked on the style. Their waterkeeper hefe is very drinkable too, but they are a no frills brewery IMO.

Looking forward to the Stone Enjoy By again. I like how they rotate it the way they do, keeps me looking forward to it(but I guess that's part of the idea).

Something new: Fest of Ales tickets are now on sale

SweetWater 420 was the beer that turned me on to craft beer in the first place so I may be a bit of a homer, but their IPA is one of the best IPA's for the money in my opinion. Their traditional offerings are simply solid, but they do a lot of high gravity stuff in their Dank Tank series, which is up in the air how soon or even IF we'll see it at all.

I think I'm over the Enjoy By hype. I loved it at first, but every new one I try I get more and more onion and it's turning me off.

Never saw it in town. I had it on tap months ago in Atlanta. Fantastic. If it showed up now, it might only be a shadow of what it's supposed to be since it's a big ass IPA enjoyed best when fresh.

Dont get me wrong, I like the IPA, and I am thrilled that we got a new brew here in town. Hopefully more will follow their lead, especially Lagunitas and/or Oskar Blues.

Shenanigans has Green Flash Imperial and Tropical Tripel. Both are really good
