sorry if this is dumb... I've never been to either Beachwood and a kind friend got me a gift certificate. Was planning on going down and making a day of it - eating, having some beers etc..

Which one is more fun to visit?

    Thanks in advance

I think LB has more house beers on tap so if drinking Beachwood beers are the sole purpose, I'd say go there. However, I enjoy the Seal Beach location more. It's a quaint little space but I prefer that kind of place. Not to mention, it's nice to take a walk down the pier after some bbq and beer.

This. The lady and I like to have a few then cruise the beach for awhile to sober up if needed. The beach is much nicer.

Both are good in their own way. LB for the house beers and larger seating accomodations, SB for the incredible bottle selection and closer proximity to the beach

Seal Beach is my favorite beach community in So Ca, but you can't go wrong at either. I only wish the plans for the bottle shop in Seal hadn't fallen through...

Not sure they will have bottles to begin with as it seems their bottle releases see bottles go out the door fast.

Long beach is brewery and restaurant while SB is restaurant taps and bottles. Both rock. Best combo going by far.

Both locations rock! SB is 10 minutes away while LB is twenty five min. SB is my go to for happy hour. Staff is very cool. Bottle list is better at SB too.

It's been discussed in passing but not fully pointed out - both now have pretty decent bottle lists.

Does the SB location have all the house beers? The only time I was there was B.S. (Before Shrago).

No, SB doesn't always have house beers. The one time I was able to visit there, they didn't have any house beers at all. This isn't to say they didn't have a great tap list, but if it's house beers you're looking for then go to LB.

Im a bit biased living in LB, but I enjoy the LB location more. It is also next to Congregation Ale House, which has some nice bottles and taps

I prefer the LB location. Get some house brews and start with their chicken nachos.
