    Rampant DIPA?

    6 DIPAs for $9! Are you serious?

    A DIPA that takes a different take on a style should be rewarded when its done right.

    This is a solid beer at an unbelievable price Cheers, and Go Hawks!

    I get a 4 pack of Old Rasputin for a little over $7! an awesome RIS for that cheap is rediculous

    From a bitter Red Wing fan, boo Hawks :stuck_out_tongue:. Congrats though. Anyways, I always liked NB because they produce some quality stuff for an extremely good price (I almost guarantee if I did a blind taste test with their Abbey and a bunch of world-class Belgian dubbels, I wouldn't be able to pick out which one was the NB brew), so cheers to that.

    I'd rather spend the extra money on a DIPA I know I'll like more. Although a "extra" IPA, i'd rather spend $11.97 on a 12er of torpedo or $13.99 for a 12er of Racer 5.

    Cheers.

    Hawks had some amazing battles. That series was as good as it gets in hockey. Sad to see a rival leave for the other conference. Hopefully we see a Stanley Cup nettle in the future.

    I like NB, but Rampant wouldn't be the first DIPA I'd choose, even at $9.

    Clearly this thread isn't for you.

    Rampant is a good value. Just like the bees you mentioned. But they aren't DIPAs.

    I mentioned Rampant is a unique beer.

    I didn't like it at first but at this value I have it a few more tries and it is growing on me.

    I enjoy the change of pace. So many great beers featuring the same flavors. I'm glad NB did a beer that allows me a change of pace.

    I think you mistook the OPs intent. It is not an "Is there a better DIPA deal?" thread, but rather, it is an "Is there a better deal?" thread. Meaning his original "good deal" happens to be a DIPA, but that does not exclude all other styles that may or may not contain amazing deals therein. But, alas, I may be mistaken as well.

    I'm thankful I only bought a single Rampant. Wasn't that good. I'll take anything from Lagunitas or Sierra Nevada for the quality:cost ratio.
