No, and it probably wouldn't really do anything for me because I can't seem to smell hops.

 

I have had Amber on cask years ago when it was on all the time at Stags Head. I have not had this years version, but yes it is one of the best cask ales I have had in Texas.

As far as I know, Flying Saucer Sugar Land and Stag's Head both have casks of mosaic dry-hopped Amber on right now. As Brad and Phil said, it's freaking fantastic. I'm tempted to say it's the best thing I've ever had from Saint Arnold.

People at Saint Arnold, please continue to make this beer.

I too tried this at Flying Saucer Sugar Land yesterday per Brad's suggestion. Excellent beer.

 

Pretty much everyone at the brewery are huge fans of he Amber cask w/ Mosaic. It's an awesome beer.

 

Nobi tweeted they're tapping a cask of this at 4pm today.

 

They just tweeted it is already tapped. Almost made it to 4pm.

 

I was secretly hoping that they would Special ********* us and open it during the share. OH WELL.

 

Maybe they'll save the pineapple habanero Sculpin for us.

 

To be completely honest, that's what I thought I was responding to when I replied. This is the better of the two outcomes, because... there's a chance.

 

Allegedly, World of Beer in Arlington is tapping a cask of the Amber with Mosaic tomorrow (Sat, Jun 29th) at 6 pm for any DFW folk interested. Call ahead just to be sure.
