TLNBIFF Hints and Hauls

Both states I am shipping to are bigger than mine.

 

Hint 1: If one of my targets was to visit the other, they would have to travel ~405 miles.
Hint 2: One of the boxes is heading northwest. The other box is heading even further northwest.
Hint 3: Both my targets joined BeerAdvocate in the same year.

 

I want to give out more hints but I can't because the last few BIFs I blew my load to quick and ruin it for my target.

 

One of my targets will be getting a beer that is one of only 80 bottles. Smaller brewery, not any sort of whale status here, but pretty impossible to get, and amazingly delicious. (BB Barleywine).

 

Premature BIFjaculation is a common problem amongst BAers. Sometimes the excitement builds too quickly for both n00bs and experienced BIFers alike. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and with the help of beer and patience, most BIFers are able to overcome the challenge.

 

Target #1 is sitting at 201oz and will be packaged up this weekend, unless I get wind of some hot upcoming local release. I think it's a nice mix of styles and I was able to hit some wants. Avg BA rating of 95.27

Target #2 is proving to be even more difficult that I originally thought. My cellar/local distro and their style preference just do not line up. I am trying my best to pick up some limited/brewery only locals in their preferred styles. Unfortunately the BA ratings are not nearly as high as those for target #1. I appologize in advance. I may be shipping close to the end of the shipping window in the hopes of coming up with a want

 

Target one is going to be getting a 12 shipper filled with almost all wants.

Target 2 is getting a 12 shipper with all out of distro. I think one or 2 are wants but they have very few. Either way they both should go ahead and pick up some 2x4 and nails cause after talking to my partners this is gonna hurt.

At the least they will have some beer to go along with the house work needed for repairs.

I don't think it's worth worrying about BA ratings. While they are some indication of the better beers out there, they are still subjective. If you've got a beer you love and think your target should try it, then dammit you should send it to them!

 

I hear ya, but it's a style I don't care for so all I've to go on is the ratings

Target #2

I've always been interested in a profession central to my 2nd targets state.

 

After attacking the wax on my bottle of Bois last night, i'm going to disagree. That was some tough crap to get off.

 

its kind of a pain. In my experience Surly and the Bruery are the best at waxing their bottles but it makes it that much more worth it once I get into them. like I actually had to work for it (aside from trading my cellar away to get some of them.

I have updated wants, but sadly a lot of them might be crazy. but you never know what us beer nerds have tucked away in the cobwebs.

Hint 1: My targets will be getting a beer that's name puns on a Jock Jam.
Hint 2: It would take two and a half weeks to walk to either of my targets. But probably a little longer because of the sled full of beer I'd be pulling.
