    From facebook..

In other news, we just released a new beer at the pub called Propitiation. It's a sour barrel-aged Baltic Porter and was one of the components for the Toronado 25th Anniversary beer. I did not realize we had any leftovers from the blend!

I remain suspicious, though that could explain why it sounds sourer now than what I had to drink last year. They also used a very small portion in the blend, so there could be a couple of unused barrels. That still probably indicates a minimum of 2 kegs.

Its' good, but i am getting barrel notes off it more than any RR sours I have had so I totally believe the 24 month number you are giving. Do you know the barrel variety? Seems like a white to me but the balance is shockingly good

Just as a request, could we get the right name in the thread title? It's Propitiation, not Propitation.

Wait two days. People at the pub will be asking for Prohibition.

    Perspiration?
    Palpitation?
    Perturbation.

Think they will still have it on July 6th? That is when I will be up there.

I heard the Bruery is souring Black Tuesday and calling it Palpatation.

Does anyone know if they'd do a growler fills of this? If so, I'd be willing to trade some HF Madness & Civilization #1 or Civil Disobedience #6...

They don't do growler fills of their sours. So I highly doubt they will do growlers of this.

Correct, no growler fills of it or any other sour.

edit: Anybody know why not? Just trying to avoid undercutting their bottle prices by 4x?

Might be, but it's pretty popular, so don't get your hopes up. One guy was two-fisting it yesterday. (Don't look at me.)

The owner (Richie?) told us on our last trip that it was to avoid infecting growlers with bacteria.
