    that, in combination with the prior ruinten, just inspired me to paint this:

    edit: i checked my beer after finishing. while i was painting, four fruit flies were lured in by the delicious aroma. they subsequently ventured too far into the sweet nectar and were over taken by the exceedingly high alcohol content. RIP little dudes. i hope at least it was an awesome way to go

    double edit: i just found a fifth, and it was still alive! i set it free! hell yeah

    Smoked it with Jack Daniels chips, and used a homemade mixture of Apple juice and Bourbon to keep it moist. Should be tasting it in a few minutes.

    Apple juice should be a requirement of all BBQ grillers, as stated by law. Beer should also be within one's hand reach, too. Violators subject to prosecution, to the fullest extent.

    Just cracked a fresh growler of the new chinook IPA from DC Brau - 'Pyramids Under the Sea'. Darn tasty, and refreshing to see them realize that you don't have to make a citrus bomb to make a good IPA.
