Ah, the classic Pliny v. Heady v. olive oil matchup.
    Who won BTW?

I know this is going to make me sound like a douche bag, but I actually drain poured the f'ing Pliny. This is the second night in a row I followed up a Heady with a ipa/iipa (last night was descender) that I know I love and just couldn't believe how it became a chore to drink them. I recently bottled a batch of my home brew soley in re-used Pliny bottles I drink it so much. When I get back from vacation in a week I am going to try the same thing but in reverse order and do the Pliny first.

It sounds too close to "sphygmoid" and that's an overly unpleasant thought for all of us...good gawd, just call a blood pressure cuff what it is. (What? It's not a Welch Allyn like everyone else buys?!?!! *gasp*!!!!) -HA!

I know I speak for at least a few Washingtonians when I say, next time you feel the urge to drainpour a Pliny, shoot one of us a quick BM and we'll gladly provide you with an address where you can send it for disposal instead.

Don't get me wrong, I have always really enjoyed Pliny. I think I am just not good with the back-to-back tasting thing. On a side note, I do have a fairly decent line on PtE bottles. If you are in Southern Washington and want to set up an IP trade.

Finished the growler of Simtra, grabbed an Anchor California Lager for a nightcap. Not too shabby. Looking forward to my Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA tomorrow while watching Spain v. Brazil!

It was like 85 degrees today, which is hot for Seattle, so I decided this sounded good

Stouts are always good no matter how hot it is.
