Got on around 8:30am and ordered two Elijah 12, and two Fitz. Went to checkout and saw that i had to pay with Paypal. Checked my Paypal account and had $21.02. Stuck with the Elijah12. Praying the Fitz is still there when my funds go through, but HIGHLY doubt it.

 

Damn it I forgot about this and after getting home from work I see the 3 I wanted are sold old. Oh well.

Are you serious? None of that implies that it will continue to grow. The relevant comparison isn't '10 party to '11 party, it's '11 futures to '12 futures. And that's a comparison that we can't make. (And the parts of it that we do know don't bode particularly poorly for people hoping to attend, the most limited stuff sold out instantly via e-mail, and very quickly this year, implying similar demand.)

I don't bet on anything. All I'm saying is that being worried about this now before we know any details at all is silly.

 

I got 2 Elijah Craig, 2 Old Fitz; and 2 Bernheim Wheat. If any of those were ones you wanted I'd be happy to work out a trade with you for something else when the time comes. If you're in the LA area we can always swap in person and save on the shipping costs!

I was on a plane from lax to jfk and only 3 of the marquees were left when I just logged on. Oh well... I picked up 6 of each so my regular trading buddies can get some.

wow, think i've reached beer geek maturity...didn't order any...and i'm okay with it (i think)

also, last year's seemed to spike in price when they were actually released. i paid way more than what i paid upfront to get my beer and that didn't include shipping. i imagine that will happen again next year? $20 per seems awfully low compared to what these actually sell for.

 

true but with the party being a lottery to attend anyway i dont count on making it until my tickets are in my hands. id really like one of these guys. owell lets see what happens
