So errr... after staring at it on the shelf over the span of a few months, I finally bought Fruet... tonight... whoops?

Any opinions on how they compare?

Fruet is still very solid. With the way they make them, you're basically tasting a portion of Bois anyway. But Fruet is still a solid beer and drinking great right now.

Paid 35 & 43 for Bourbon & New American Oak versions. I think the Rye was $50 even. Ugh

Doesn't sound like it, they were all $30 from The Bruery.

Picked up a bottle! Ran me $38 bucks, but I know it's going to be worth it. Stoked about this one!

Ah, for some reason I thought those were brewery only. But maybe someone sold it second hand?

No, at a local liquor store, he gets all kinds of random things that he's not really "supposed to"

I knocked off the entire 750ml bottle one evening, and though that was a major mistake, I wasn't *too* out of it. No vomiting or black outs.

Because of the incredibly asinine 12% ABV cap on beer here in OH we can't get this. Luckily my parents live in NC where they don't have such a low ABV cap and my dad was able to pick me up a bottle for $34 after tax. I'm stoked! Fruet was great when I tried it last month. I'll probably age this one instead of drinking it fresh.
