    I will be in attendance... Are they by any chance also doing a glassware night with this Scott? I miss Hop Delussion and BA Hellfighter. YUM!

    It's a good beer but the Houston BAs way over hype it. It is one of the best if not the best BA stout/ porter in the state though.

    I really liked 003, but from what others have said, 005 has a lot less barrel flavor. Which is sad cause I thought 003 was a almost perfect balance of base beer and barrel character.

    Thanks for posting this, I was able to get a couple of growlers for a trade partner who had to move from Seattle to Little Rock. Poor guy.
    Talked to one of the Karbach guys and thanked him for picking SA for the expansion.

    So were other distributors offering 5 million like Silver Eagle or is that just a rumor?

    I can't comment on rumors or things I don't know. But if they were offered 5 million dollars I would have to assume there was some competition. Why else would you come up with a large number like that unless you were trying to out bid someone? I also don't think I can really thank silver eagle for anything

    How is Sam's Burger Joint in SA for beer selection? I may come see William Clark Green play there in September.

    Oh and congrats on getting Karbach in San Antonio... an up and coming brewery!

    Didn't feel like starting a new thread about it but wanted to put the word out. Stopped in at the Spec's on 35 and 1604 and they had 2 cases of Rumpkin out on the floor, 13.99 no limit. It's kind of hard to find but if you see the Karbach display set up (with a few bottles left of Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter) it's right across from it.

    That's a lot of Rumpkin.

    Gawd San Antonio kicks ass at beer nowadays.... don't even get me started on the state of beer when I lived there, lol.

    Those guys actually had it for $11.99 but it was priced wrong at De Zavala and they evetually corrected the mistake.
