Bourbon County Glass

Obviously it's not as rare since they keep making them, but there's still a lot of demand. they sell out really fast each time, and that's with it only being available in Chicago.

The continual price hikes are annoying. I picked up two last time for $12.50, and this time it was indeed $15.

 

I presented the same question on one of their FB posts about the glasses. They went from something like $9 to $12 to $15. Their explaination is that the cost to produce the glasses went up. A 66% increase in a few months sounds like a bit much.

 

That sounds like typical business speak. Unless there was somehow 2 different increasing shortages on the actual glass they put the BCBS print on, I don't see how that's possible.

 

Do you know if they still have any snifters left?

 

I'm not sure as I was only in there on Monday. I would suggest calling them. I'm sure they'd let you know and save you a trip if they're out!

 

They just put more snifters up for sale today! Limit 2 per person.

I'm going to be in Chicago on Saturday & Sunday; anyone have a guess of whether they'll still be available then?

 

I went on Wednesday and they seemed to have plenty still. Then they are closed today, so my best guess would be they will be gone on Friday or Saturday.

 

Anyone nice enough to pick me up a pair? I'd be happy to send up some southern brews for your time...
