Hey guys I'm going to be in Dallas in a couple weeks for a family outing , so no time to hit the taps ,but would love to bring back some good beer to Arkansas. I would love to find some Ballast Point, Deschutes, Jester King , Lagunitas, Oskar Blues and Six Point. I know those are all in Texas just not sure if they are in the Dallas Area , I dont mind making more than one stop , also I know its limited but any chance of finding any Dogish , Anderson or Clown Shows in the Dallas area? Thanks in advance

    Which part of Dallas?

You can get all that here.

Those are all pretty much everywhere in Dallas.

Any styles you're looking for in particular? It might be easier to setup a trade for some of the JK stuff than driving around to find it.

Hall's Grocery Store (Colleyville/just north of Arlington)

Lone Star Beverages (Carrollton/north of Dallas)

And a number of Whole Foods(there's one in Arlington minutes from "Jerry's world") and Central Markets in DFW, depending on what area you're closer to.

Don't miss out on Lakewood The Temptress while you're here. Like Raffy mentioned, Halls and Lone Star are the two best stores in DFW. Hit those first, then hit Total Wine Dallas and Specs Walnut Hill for anything you missed out on.

Ok guys changed up our plans and went to somewhere else , will be in Dallas next Monday. Where is a nice place to take the wife and kids to eat that has a good beer menu? I will be driving in from Arkansas and staying by Six Flags so I can stop anywhere............I'm excited to visit

Staying by Six Flags, Hall's is the answer. Straight shot up 360, left on Glade and it sits about 2 miles down on the right side. Valero/Halls.

I'll co-rep Temptress. Also: find the BA variant if you can!

It's not bottled. You'd have to find a place that did growler fills of it.... which I don't think most places do, lol.

I just want to clear up any confusion, Hall's is a beer store, and not a place to eat. A damn good beer store at that, the best in DFW in my opinion. They literally get every beer that we receive in our market.

As far as a place to eat, to have good beer AND bring the wife and kids is little trickier. The only place I can think of that fits all these criteria (good beer, good food and kid friendly - I assume they have good food since their Portland locations did) is Henry's in Plano. Unfortunately this is NO WHERE near where you'll be at in Arlington.

Another great choice would be Jack Mac's Swill & Grill. Again though, this is in north Dallas, no where near Arlington.

Honestly it's very difficult to find good beer in the Arlington area. Sort of a beer wasteland. I'm struggling to think of a place that has all 3 of what you're looking for.

For that area it's indeed difficult to nail all those points... WoB might have food now maybe? Otherwise Mellow Mushroom in Southlake or FM Smokehouse in Irving. I think there is a new place that opened up in the HEB area that's got food/beer too.

I'd add Hopdoddy to that list. Their beer list is smaller than some of those others (you can see their menu on their site http://www.hopdoddy.com/locations/) but it's one of the top burger joints in town.
