Odd, all the retailers I know would respond to a request like that by suggesting that the sales rep go fuck himself.

It's even more scarce in South FL than in Orlando. The Tampa Bay area is the only place where they seem to have a lot of it. Makes sense since the brewery is in Tampa. Just sayin'.

I'm pretty sure BAstoutsNsours take on this was sarcastic. As a matter of fact, the mere mention of Ruby Pogo proves it was sarcastic. But Hornswaggled every day all the time... Nothing sarcastic about that. Bring it!!

I heard CCB was scaling back their distribution. Not sure if it is a rumor or not but I'm glad I live in Tampa. Even though it is becoming hard to get Jai Alai and Tocabaga here.

Where are you finding 6ers of jai alai for $9? They are $11 at the brewery and $10.99 at most liquor stores I have gone to.

They will fill other growlers as long as they are 32oz or 128oz, no 64oz growlers.

I see Jai Alai everywhere in gainesville. Most Publix grocery stores have it for $10.50. Canned 3-4 weeks ago.

Target has it for under $9, ABC had it for under 10 yesterday (on kennedy)

I think thats a little strong. Founders just reversed course on us here in FL (that of which you get in GA) and decided they were not going to distribute here after all. I didnt get pissed at them. I just found someone in MI to send me some in exchange for some FL beers that person can't get in MI. Problem solved. I'm guessing there is no shortage of folks in Tampa that would gladly send you some Jai Alai in exchange for beers available in your market that don't get distro here. FT:ISO doesnt have to just be for walezbro.

Not exactly true. Founders has just put their expansion plans on hold, they have never said they were not gonna distribute here. In fact, some are optimistic that we will see founders by the 4th quarter of this year.

You are correct. I misspoke. It was slight delay, then slight delay and then "we're not sure when". I haven't seen/heard any update but I'd be thrilled with 4th quarter. It would hopefully mean breakfast stout in FL.

In St Pete, the Jai Alai is always available. I can get it at my local Publix and ABC. Even Wal-Mart has it. Always within days of canning.

WalMart? No wonder JA is hard to get. I'm sure 80% of all JA goes there and sits onthe shelf until the lil zorro guy cuts the price in half.

Sams Club typically has Jai Alai for $8-9 or so, although its at least a month old when I come across it..

I've had Jai Alai 1-2 days old, a week old, and a month old. It is great at each age. Yeah, it is great fresh. But it doesn't lose that much, compared to a more hop forward beer like hopslam or heady.
But if people want fresh, its pretty damn easy to find someone in tampa who would be willing to trade sixers.

You pay a bit more at the brewery, but for Jai Alai it's worth it. Few things better than a fresh one...
