That really needs to be in a frosted glass.

Okay, I'm 6'5 and have pretty large hands. That can looks tiny in your hand, is it 12oz?

I haven't had this beer in quite a while. Recently got a taste for Berliners and such and figured I should revisit this one. I'm liking it, a good easy drinking beer. Some music...

    Cheers all!!

Well I spent about eight hours here today, almost the length of their brew day. Observed for the most part but helped out when I could.

    Drank some beer...

    Liked the brown.

    Love the black.

I'll probably end it with this one. Hoping to pick up some good American craft for tomorrow. Cheers!

Gentlemen and ladies, may I present to you, Barrel Aged Abraxas. A delicious treat prior to some fireworks. Mexican chocolate milk, cinnamon mid palate and on the finish, smells like brownies and caramelized cinnamon soaked in delicious bourbon. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the night, and has a safe and inebriated 4th my phriends!

For your listening pleasure, a fine performance of Playin' in the Band -> Deal performed by Bobby Weir, Phillip Lesh, John Kadlicek, Jeff Trementi, Joe Russo, and others, one of the finest live acts currently touring, Furthur:

The second Jack's Abby beer I've had, courtesy of JOSHMAN, this one in celebration of my return porch bomb arriving in time for his 4th of July.

As for the beer itself... it's better than the other smoked maple beer I've had... http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/132/72720

Started with FishEye homebrew samples - The one on the left is the early stages of Hairy Porter "Squared" (the big evil brother to the previous batch of Hairy Porter)...this one will eventually have vanilla chocolate and bourbon added like little brother, right now he's sitting at 10.8% and still a few weeks to go. The other is an English Oak Bourbon Barley (10.4%) and will be blended into a keg later on tonight with a previous batch and put on CO2.

Drink whatever makes you happy. I don't know why everyone around here seems so high and mighty about beers. Enjoy pal! I am! who cares what others think.
This beer in that glass and that beer at this temp and how to present the beer. Honestly it's making me sick. After a long hard day of yard work and grilling for the kids just give me a nice cold beer. Happy 4th everyone!

Thievery frickin' ROCKS! I love those guys (and that's one of my favorite songs)...just far enough out there to put you in a relaxed frame of mind and then add beer on top of that... that's a fist pump!
