No, I knew to avoid the ones you brought to HMOG last year. The very first time I ever went to Lee's house he offered a few beers to pick from after we had already shared a few. I picked the Triple Bock because of all I had read on here about it. I will never make the mistake drinking that foul beer again. I still have nightmares about the oil slick covered glass and the noise that was made when the large clump of... something fell out of the bottle into my glass.

Well, mine weren't that bad. No globs, just the "soy sauce" flavor.

I had a 2005 Olde School earlier in the evening thanks to revbdub5446. Now I'm enjoying a 2006 Immort Ale. The Olde School was a little oxidized but otherwise pretty awesome. '05 enjoyed in '12 is as far back as I go now.

1981 lindemans kriek i had last year. interesting,to say the least. sour, tart, cherry, vinegar.zero carbonation. still have 1 bottle left.

1991 duvel. this was the tastiest beer i've ever had. insane carbonation for being20 years old.i had 2 of these and drank them both. i would LOVE to get more vintage duel from that time period and compare.

A beer can collecting group I was a part of back in Indianapolis during the early nineties would get together every so often for tastings. We would crack open both the old and new. The old included a 20 year old "vintage" Schlitz Malt Liquor Tall Boy. We also tossed back the contents of a 007, and a few old flat tops, too. We enjoyed plenty of new stuff, too; brews from Oldenberg in Fort Mitchell, KY, the Indianapolis Brewing Co, Celis Brewery in Austin, TX, and a variety other brewers who were paving the way to where we are today.

Just had a 1992 Guild Ale last saturday night and well it might have been one of the worst beers I have ever had. Not sure why people hold on to beer for that long

2008 Stone Old Guardian last month. Bottled before I graduated high school, so it seems old enough to me. It was delicious, and the alcohol was nowhere to be found.

My oldest was a Delirium Tremens from 1995 as drank Christmas of 2011. It was delicious.

That one was an accident. My dad had stuck it in with his liquor years ago because he thought it was, well, liquor! And, because he doesn't really ever drink liquor it sat in the same cabinet until I found it during Christmas when someone asked me to make a mixed drink.

The oldest I have lying around is probably a 2007 Stone IRS.

1999 Fullers Reserve - still readily available at the brewery shop, I pick one or two up every so often!

I had some older beers at Kulminator in antwerp a few years back but wasn't recording details of beers at the time, but seem to remember them being early 90's whatever they were (I had been on it all day) !?

It's pretty tasty. A curious thing happens, though. The malt and the water feel like they split a bit, so you get an intense sugar and then a kind of cold 'wash'. It's an interesting experience and one I've enjoyed both times.

19 year old Third Coast Old Ale and 17 year old Expedition Stout. Both fantastic, among the best beers I have had.

Good info! I have one bottle of 2003 left, was thinking about drinking it rather sooner, but now I'll probably let it sit longer.
