I hadn't seen this beer for several months now until today. Stopped at A&P Liquor in Old Lyme and snagged a couple bottles. There were still at least three on the shelf after that. It was sitting at a relatively hefty $19.99 (I think I was paying $14.99 in the winter at other places).
I'm certainly not complaining. I bought my previous bottles in the Hartford area. Perhaps it was cheaper there than in other parts of the state.
I also picked up one at Broadway Wine and Spirits in Colchester a week and a half ago when visiting relatives. Totally unexpected as I was looking for NEBCO which they did not carry and it was nowhere on my radar. There were at least two left on the shelves when I was there.
N.E.W.S. in Plainfield has a few, also some 4 packs of BCBS. Dayville had plenty of BCBS not sure of BCBCS...
Might go check out plainfield. Guy on the phone didn't seem to know what I was looking for. When were you there?
it's bizarre to me where this stuff lingers. Whole Foods in Union Square, NYC is still sitting on BCBS as well. I figured the 'country' stores this would happen, but not in a high volume, urban area
I had never had BCBCS until recently when i found 2 sitting on the shelf at Town and Country Liquor in Derby, CT for $12.99 about a month ago and then followed it with 2 more from A&P Liquors in Waterford, CT for $18.99 over the 4th of July weekend. Needless to say, i consider myself lucky!

Finding it this late in the game is the exception , not the rule. I'm pretty surprised it was still around. And if you're looking for some, send me a BM and maybe we can set something up.
I work for one of the ct distributors that carry it. We were only given a certain amount to sell in eastern ct.( The distributors in hartford and new haven are both much bigger than ours. they may have gotten more than we did.)The coffee and cherry we got even less. We are hoping to get more next year. Cheers
