This is so damn good. I prefer it much more than the Berliner and that was pretty tasty. I will be buying a bunch of this!

Agreed, I loved the Berliner and have already purchased a case of it up to this point. But this is even better!

Anyone know why NG doesn't print the ABV on their labels?

It's only a legal requirement to put ABV on the label if the beer is shipped/sold out of state.

Must not have been a law until just past couple months? Lakefront didn't advertise their % until recent label changes.

The statement "a bit on the sweets side" horrifies me. I am betting this is like Enigma, where I drink 1, realize it is too sweet and fruity, and throw the other 3 in the cellar until someone takes them off my hands via trade.

Its more of a caramelly, brown malt sweetness to me. Enigma is basically sour cherry pie, which is great but if you didn't like that because of the fruity sweetness, you ought to like this one quite a bit better.

And you can just give me all your Enigma!

Hm I was told that a year or so ago by a pretty reliable source. Wonder if they had some sort of exception maybe?

I was at the brewery on the 6th and they didn't have the sour yet :slight_frown: hope it's still around in August when we head to Milwaukee.

Yeah if IIPA is still around now, no question a sour will be for at least another month.

Is this in the Milwaukee area yet? I am up in the Northwoods but will be down that way this weekend and would love to grab some 4-packs of this. I'm still savoring my last 5 bottles of Enigma.

Little too sweet for my tastes. I am a Berliner guy all the way.
