Haha .. I meant the entire case.. Bauer and a couple of others told me that I won't be able to buy that much from them.

I don't know, but you can probably buy 6-12 bottles at 2-3 different stores pretty easily. This really isn't a beer that anyone should have a problem getting plenty of as it is not some time consuming barrel aged rarity with a super limited bottle count.

Keep in mind there will be multiple deliveries of this stuff everywhere. We are all just experiencing the initial rush.

From what I remember the last 2 years. The first wave always gets destroyed by people that buy several cases and I guess drink just Nugget Nectar for weeks. After the first wave it seemed to be available everywhere for at least 1-2 weeks with plenty of cases sitting around. I just want a six pack, might not get it today since many stores have sold out in 4 hours.

Has it dropped anywhere in Boston yet? Or just Rapid, Redstone and Craft beer Cellar?

I thought the move to the new brewing facility allowed them to up the output by quite a bit this year..

I believe it did. There was a post with this info in it on beernews.org but the site seems to be down (at least for me). Started brewing it later due to the move but they brewed a considerable amount more, something like 20-25%.

NN isn't usually hard to find once it is released here. The first deliveries usually go quick, but after the hype dies down a bit there seems to always be a steady supply for at least a couple months. If you can hold off a week or two you will start seeing it everywhere.

beyond what alot of people refer to on here as 'hype'.. craft beer is growing significantly and so is how the industry reaches its consumers. Take this website for example, it recently crashed because of traffic and so many threads being posted, and many good beer stores tweet/facebook the new arrivals and brewery's do the same. I think for people like us who really enjoy craft beer that increased demand is a great thing.

That being said, i need to scratch my NN itch pretty bad.

The NN release shares a similar buying pattern with the regular Founders Breakfast stout (especially this year). Rolled out a few cases per store, gone VERY quick (although probably bigger initially for NN). Then rolled out a few more times in the coming months and much easier to purchase after everyone's at least tasted it originally.

Patience... It hasn't even landed yet at the vast majority of stores.

Also people do go nuts over the first batch, which I really don't understand. Just buy a 6-pack and then buy additional 6-packs as needed with ensuing fresher batches. Stocking up on a case right now just means you'll be drinking less fresh NN than everyone else in a month.

+1 to this. I made the mistake of buying a case a few years back and the end of it was far from fresh. I like your approach!

Meh, bought a case for $43, a sixer for myself, and 1 sixer apiece for a few friends.

I picked up 2 six packs yesterday at Wines and More in Wareham for $11.99. They had two or three cases left.
