Probably a case of "Too many cooks spoil the broth" or "Too many chiefs..." etc. I've never been interested in collaborations, maybe for that reason.

Surprised that you mentioned Eliot Ness. I've only had it a couple of times, but really enjoyed it.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't care much for Founders All Day IPA.

Stone Ruinten. Thought it was alright but was really disappointed especially reading all the reviews and the high accolades the beer received here and else where.

It was amazing this year, so I'm willing to forgive last year's debacle.

Man, I loved that beer. I loved how floral it was (which is exactly what I was expecting based on the name and their Belgian roots). It was perfect drinking on my porch in 80 degree weather.

I was extremely dissapointed with Pivo Pils by FW. Thought it was gonna be along the lines of Prima. Man, what a shame.

I finished Sah'tea...there are no drain pours!

Started an aged Rayon Vert (my buddy tries to age everything), starting to warm up to it after feeling it was going to be torture to drink.
There are no drain pours, just people who quit on another's efforts!

Weyerbacher Verboten (too yeasty), Stone Levitation (just plain weird), and I'm shocked Rogue's Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon monstrosity hasn't made the list yet.

This may not be too fair, because i don't like IPAs to begin with....but Founders All Day IPA tasted like a sweaty armpit

I'm adding Founders Rubaeus to this list. Watered down raspberry wine cooler. And expensive at that! ($11.99/4-pack down here in TX).

Luckily I just picked up a single.

Yeah, it was amazing this year FRESH, but again is infected. I had one at a tasting 3 weeks agos, just as infected as last years.

I love it fresh, but this shit is 2 years running for sure, and my tasting group can back it up that this years is fucked too.

I heartily disagree with great lakes eliot ness. Perhaps you did not have it fresh but it is easily one of the best beers I have ever had. A light taste of fresh strawberry that's not sugared and reminds one of sunshine. ST 2XSteam is also a great beer but I can see how all the strong mint might not be appealing.

I've been trying to come up with something and I honestly can't say that I've had a bad beer from a good brewery, although there have been some that didn't live up to the hype. I still wouldn't call such a beer bad. Maybe I've been staying within my comfort zone a little too much.

Wait a minute, does Yuengling count? Some people seem to think Yuengling is a good brewery, although I'm inclined to disagree after having one of its beers recently.
