In case you aren't familiar, BCBS is a seasonal release so you'll be looking for stock that remains from last winter. It could be there, but has been off the shelves in most markets for some time now.

 

OP, by "some time", our good friend HighWine here means approximately six months. Chances are you will need to wait until the next release, which is unfortunate.

The good news is, come November, you likely will have very little trouble getting at least one four-pack if the release is anything like it was in 2012. If you don't think you can wait that long, I'm sure there's someone out there who would be willing to trade a few bottles of 2012 since it was so plentiful.

The variants (last year, Coffee and Cherry Rye) are a different story, however.

 

Williston Beverage in Long Island. Still has plenty of 4 packs, but no variants.

 

try the Whole Foods Bowery. I got some there while i was visiting. also, look at the beeradvocate thread for beer stores in new york/manhatten. i think pretty much all the places on that list had a few bottles at least.

There's still alot of BCBS in NY.

 

Decicco's in Ardsley NY has plenty of BCBS. It probably also has any other non-limited beer you're looking for as well. As for the variants, they're long gone. With the exception of Coffee (which is made yearly and last a couple of days), the variants are usually sold out within a day or two of being distributed around the Westchester, Rockland, and NYC area.

 

Cable Beverage had over 40 cases, yes 40, a little over a month ago.

 

I actually know where there was Coffee until at least 3 weeks ago. My area got blessed this time around.

 

I always think its interesting when something like Coffee gets sent to a store that no one really knows about or frequents. Kinda makes beer hunting an adventure!

 

If you work in the city, you can find BCBS at Whole Foods Columbus Circle. I was there maybe a month ago and they had a never ending amount of 4 packs.

I would think that Cable Bev prob has tons of it - I picked up two cases from them in April (~$125 a case) and was told they still had about 10 cases of it on hand and that there were still another 60-70 some cases sitting at the wholesaler at that time. The owner said that they would be trying to buy a bunch more from them if they could get the price low enough from the wholesaler. Sounds like they did.

 

Indeed. Same store actually gave me a nice discount to take a case of BCBS '11 a month after it was released, when all other stores sold out same day they received and had strict bottle limits.

 

Top Hops in NYC had 6 or 7 cases as of 2 nights ago. $6.99 per with a 10% discount on a case I think.

Whole Foods in Union Square might have a couple bottles left, they did as of yesterday

I was at Whole Foods Bowery a couple days ago and didn't see any, though frankly I was surprised at how small their beer selection was compared to WF Union Square, given all the reco's for that particular store. I kind of feel like I missed a section or something
