Bell's coming to SoCal?

I would agree with this if we weren't speaking strictly about 6-ers.

2 Hearted > Stone IPA > Lagunitas IPA > Union Jack/GreenFlash/etc.

Overrated

Good luck getting any Hop Slam or anything rare. Bells is stretched pretty thin. You used to see everything around the MW for week, but now forgetaboutit.

I would love to get my hands on some Expedition or Consecrator though.

 

I'm actually not a fan, but it's better than Union Jack.

 

Definitely not overrated. But its all opinions man.

 

2 Hearted is way way better than Sculpin.

 

So sorry, will go change my opinion and buy 2 Hearted

 

On draft, Sculpin tends to be good. I've never had a single good bottle.

 

I was finally able to taste Two Hearted on tap, and in bottles this summer back in Wisconsin. Good beer? Yep. As far as IPA's, I think the landscape has changed since it was the standard though. Personally I'd take a Sculpin, Alesmith, Nelson or Duet over it without thinking twice.

It's tougher times, but hoping this season we can turn it around.

 

Disagreed on the Sculpin and Alesmith, but yes, Alpine makes better IPAs that just about anyone. The main reason I would love to see 2-hearted here is that Bell's is really diligent about clear bottle dating on the label. Wish more people would follow along.
