Inappropriate beers you've pounded?

Someones judging.

 

The local TGI Friday's in grad school had an excellent tap list and offered $5 flights of any four beers (5 oz pours). On my birthday, my best friend and I took down the flight as shots. The beers we used? Two Hopslams and two DFH Olde School Barleywines. That was a fun night!

 

If I can change one word on that thread title........

 

Volunteered at a rockfest and got off with time to see the headliners. Didn't want to spend $10 on a bud light draw so I walked to the liquor store and picked up a four pack of Bigfoot, had to finish them on the walk back(30 minutes) before they would let me in the gate and I didn't want to miss the show. Caught up to the rest of the drunkards real quick.

Ran the rock and roll half marathon in DC on St Pattys day and pounded Hopslams after which was a terrible idea

 

I did 2 Sucaba's. That stuff is so good and it was going down soooo smooth. I pretty much down the second half of the second bottle. I woke up and it felt like a pack of wolves ate me and shit me over a cliff...

 

I once had a 4-pack of Heady,
My mate said, what are you waiting for, Eddie?
So I pounded each one, and when I was done,
I was left feeling a wee bit unsteady.

 

Heady Topper at a beer place in New York? Say it aint so..... Please provide location so I don't have to make the 8 hour drive for some.

 

I filled up a 2 Liter Boot with Old Chubs and "Beerfested" it. Needless to say, that did not go over well.

 

Sounds about right. I've done it in the early
days when my Fiancee still worked late hours at a bar.

For me, this would be Prairie BOMB! most recently...
Not because I was being hasty,
but because it was so damn good, I didn't want to stop drinking
it. Weird how refreshing a 14% Imperial Stout can be during a hot summer night.

 

In a complete comedy of errors, Sunday I had my first ever devil dancer, put the glass down and managed to slop half of it over the TV remotes & phone book. Much swearing ensued. Being pissed off, I took an almighty slug of the remaining.

I didn't know it was 12.0abv. Never studied the bottle, and just assumed (being an idiot) since it was a summer beer it was going to be somewhat lighter and refreshing. Almost immediately got that woozy boozy feeling.

Still have one in the fridge. Will take that one slowly, and more carefully.

 

You haven't lived until you've shotgunned a Heady.

 

Need to get that swill down some way.

 

Met a friend at a football game couple of years ago. Had a couple beers at the cars beforehand, then took one each for the stroll to the gate. Don't recall what I had, butnhengrabbed a SN Northern Harvest. Yes, a 24-oz bomber. Had to knock it back before getting to the street crossing, so maybe 5 minute at the most. He had some issues navigating the stadium getting to our seats. He was fine by halftime, though.

 

I'm kind of a small guy. If I did any of the following above, I'll end up in the ER being resuscitated.

 

A Bush Ambreé before going out one night.

 

In my early infancy of craft beer, I chugged ( lips wrapped around the bottle) a 750 C&C bottle of Love Buzz saison before being picked up for a long flight out of town. It was my last bottle from my favorite brewery and my area did not receive anything from them again for a year and a half. Still mad at myself...

 

Killed a six pack of Hopslam in under two hours playing drinking games....
