Why not? It's not like he afraid he's going to get wet. But I was wondering if there actually were any...

I think there are plenty of excellent beer places, especially Coleman Public House. At CPH, you can have your Shrimp n Grits with a great brew.

It's all good, but the humidity packing up is killing me. Btw I like lawnmower beer, hell I could use one now.

There's a brew pub kinda on the waterfront and Queen, nice place no clue on the name. I like Palmetto too, not really all that picky everything in its own te and space.

You mean Southend. I can't recommend that place for beer or food.

Not really. It may be cleaner around noon, but the weather doesn't look like it will cooperate for that. Even then, it will probably only be knee high.

In honesty, I go in 2-3 times a year to see what direction they're heading. Sometimes the seasonal isn't bad. Wouldn't recommend cause me to recommend the place, but drinkable. Pity too, such a beautiful building.

Waves were waist with occasional chest set. Not breaking all that well though, kinda crumbly on the outside, but a few fun roller coasters on the inside..I surf 3-4 days a week. Grew up in Pawleys, so I surf knee high slop with the best of them...

OK, so i second the lack of recommendation for southend. I am friends with alot of kids there, but I just cant justify going there when the Griffon and Craftsmen are on the same block.

Real grits are a beautiful thing indeed. As for shrimp and grits: Slightly North of Broad will blow your mind. Best in town. Ham, Sausage, Shrimp and Scallops on yellow stone ground. As good as it gets.

You are not in Charleston, are you? No chest high waves out here, but it does look fairly clean. I may head out afternoon sometime.

Bummer, I had high hopes for this weekend when it seemed Chantal or whatever was coming..

yeah i got a weird 9'4" epoxy Davo right now. Kind of a thruster shape. Kind of hybrid-y for me, length and ease with thruster action. Sort of.

Fleet Landing is where we ended up last year, probably tonight too. Slamming a Palmetto Pale right now it's humid.

Sucks I missed it, would have taken my 10ft Harbor Banana out. Headed to Eleuthera tomorrow, taking my Stewart Science 9 with me. Much easier to travel with bodyboards than surfboards.
