I already bought Matt Chow some. Does that mean I Chow'd it? *deep thoughts*

 

I'm not sure how to feel about this statement in many ways...

 

My wife helped contribute to that. Picked me up 4 4-packs!

I dropped by the McNeil HEB after work today per the ABW post earlier in this thread and it was nowhere to be found. I guess they haven't put it out yet. Knowing that HEB, they're probably going to hold it in the back and put it out 2 months from now...

I guess I'll drop by Arbor tomorrow.

BTW... I'd like everyone to know that HM Half IPA is horrible and not to buy it. It's not delicious and I'm just gonna go ahead and buy a few more 4-packs so you don't need to see it anymore. . It's not the best Texas Pale Ale I've tried and I didn't automatically start comparing it to Zombie Dust in my head.

Just so nobody thinks i'm trolling..please see my receipt from yesterday. Short of opening and drinking, is there anyway to check if the double I bought was really mispackaged Half? The cans from original double and this new half release look the same to me....

I would imagine they look pretty different as well if you pour it in a glass. If you need someone to do a taste test I'll volunteer myself. I can only commit myself to pints though.

I just drank my last HM DIPA last night. If you did get a stragler 4 pack of that the beer is still pretty good even if it has lost some of the bright citrus aroma it had while fresh.

 

Yeah already mentioned I didn't care about the $, more the packaging questions. Might be a good tip to others to not remove Heavy Machinery releases from their box in your fridge because there's no discernible difference in the cans from what I can see. Love 'em both, no big issue here in terms of being gypped.

Off to go eat some brisket. Heh
