bottle shops in/around Napa Valley

You asked for a suggestion on where to find Russian River. I gave you the best answer to maximize your choices of beers. You responded simple no and appear to know better. Not sure how familiar you are with the region, but there isn't a ton of great bottle shops that keep a good inventory of Russian River beers. And the brewpub in Santa Rosa is not far from Napa Valley.

If they are on a tight schedule, they can stop by City Beer Store in SF on their way across the Bay Bridge. You will have very limited choices there, of a few sours maybe.

 

Are they staying in the city of Napa? If so the WF on trancas will yield you some RR sours and possibly Pliny and blind pig if they are there on Monday midday.
Napa valley ranges from Calistoga to American Canyon, so where they will be could determine the answer.

 

The downtown Whole Foods isn't too shabby. Neither is Vallerga's
There's also Sunshine Market in St Helena. they had Dayman a week before I found it in SF.

 

Here on vacation. Anyone know where I can find Farmers Reserve #4 or Temptation?

 

Farmer's Reserve #4 is pretty much gone from shelves. They made about 1/4 of the batch compared to the other Farmer's Reserves. You might have better luck finding another #1 or #2 before another #4 turns up.

Temptation? Not out currently. Supplication and Sanctification are available at the brewery right now. And you can find Consecration, Supplication, and Sanctification at nicer bottle shops around the Bay Area right now (K&L and City Beer store specifically as of Friday).

And Temptation is on their list of "coming soon". That likely means that it will be available for sale in the brewery and in limited bottle shops in the next 2-4 weeks.
