Thanks SkippyChop, I'll give them a call later this week and post my findings. Hopefully I hear some good news...

I just called the brewery. The guy on the phone said that they just got their label approved and that the beer should be available within the next 3-4 weeks.

I have such different opinions on all of CW's stouts. I think they all accomplish different things, some more successfully.

My hands down favorite of the bunch is BBS, by a long shot. The body is a tad thin, but it highlights the barrels so well, I love that beer so much. Peruvian Morning is to thin to a default, they are too many big flavors and with the thin body, it is a jumbled mess. I felt that Fifteen was lacking the beautiful barrel characteristic accomplished with BBS, that one is a thin disappointment for sure.

Glad I stocked up on Bourbon Barrel Stout!

The BBS, PV and BBBW are indeed on the thin side but they still pack a ton of flavor and the "thin-ness" makes them even more drinkable especially when you are not craving a thick rich brew. I do love a viscous stout and bw but these are incredible for the warmer months!

Any mention if it will be 4pks or bombers? I would think 4pks, but with the Coffee House Stout in bombers, I'm not so sure.

Based on the label that slvrmon82 posted, they will be 4 pks of 12 oz bottles.

Although not a fan of a lot of their beers, I love the BALPM, BBBW, and Peruvian Morning is a favorite of mine (although I see where one could find the mouthfeel a bit lacking). I'm a huge fan of a well done scotch ale and I'm looking forward to this one!

It will be bottled this tuesday. Dunno about distro, but you can stop at the brewery on Friday or Saturday to buy some during tap room hours.

Was this aged for a year like all of the new BA releases?

Ya PM and and BBS are a bit thinner then some barrel stouts but BBBW?????:grimacing: That shit is thick as hell, I drink 1 every month or so because it is so thick that is all I can do! I do agree about the flavor though,

    Cheers

Picked up a 4 pack in Stephens Point yesterday... I should have picked up more. They had a stack as well as a stack of Peruvian Morning and the Coffee House Imperial [for just shy of $6/bomber]. The other two were around $12 a 4pack..Hope it hits Chicago Distro!!

I didn't care for it too much out of the tap at the CW taproom on Friday (it didn't have that carmely sweet CW bourbon barrel aged beer flavor for some reason), but the bottles are awesome and as-expected.
