Well, they've taken it seriously enough to name check the Mars One project as background for their plan. Do I think they're REALLY gonna send beer to space? Of course not. Just pointing out an unusually weird blog post by the HA guys. Didn't know posting about brewery blogs was a dick move. I've got so much to learn.

BTW - how are the HA sours? Haven't gotten to try any yet.

This might be their first, at least the first I've ever seen. My comment was more about why you didn't post about the new beer as opposed to posting about a throw away line about space.

That beer was a gusher, not a sour. In all seriousness it was just a fruit beer ... no bugs or wood.

True, I guess it's techinically not an American Wild Ale. They did use a sour mash, however.

It was supposed to be sour. It was sour mashed. Many have argued (and I agree) that Small Animal was rushed, which is why so many bottles gushed and some exploded.

Opened up one of my Small Animals (late in the day) at DLD and (barely) remember it tasting pretty great. Anyone else had one recently?

I'm just happy they finally fixed the capping issues they used to have. So many ounces lost in shipping transit...
