    Usually solid but always expensive.

His brother is a better brewer than he is, but I'm generally a fan. His beers are very fairly priced in Europe.

A beer worth shelling out for once, should be a beer worth shelling out for twice.

I have never bought an Evil Twin or Mikkeller beer because even if I like them, they won't be repeat purchases at those prices.

Prices have definitely levelled off with more US brewing being done. Overall I've had some really great brews from ET.

I really liked Aun Mas A Jesus. I'm hoping the bottle of Imperial Biscotti Break I have stashed blows me away.

You should drink it sooner than later then. The coffee will fade over time the more you hang onto it. It's best freshest.

Imperial Biscotti Break is extremely good. I gave my bottle of Even More Jesus and my last Imperial Biscotti Break to my friends at my local bottle shop. Hopefully they will remember me when the rare shit rolls through.

Seems I'm in the minority, but I had a Falco on tap at a local restaurant last night. I thought it was very good. Not earth-shattering, but I'd buy it again in a minute and it's better than the reviews on here make it sound.

Normally they are average beers with a premium price tag. Biscotti break is premium beer with a premium price tag...

They brew great beer (per my experience), but yeah, they're a bit expensive. I saw they started doing 4 pack of some of the more popular releases (Lil' B was the one that caught my eye: cheaper for four 12 oz than I paid for the 22oz? Yes please)
While I was at the store today I was talking to a distributor and mentioned that very issue. He said that they're (Evil Twin) planning on a price reduction sometime in the near future. This was some good news I desperately needed after a very frustrating week

ET's new to my shop, too - had Aun Café Mas Jesus - awesome coffee stout - limited distribution - gone from the shop within a day or two; Yin - good Imperial stout, Yang - good DIPA. Mixed a Yin and Yang for an excellent black and tan (they produce a pre-mixed product, too). Imperial Biscotti Break is in the fridge - very limited distribution (1 per customer in this case), and my expectations are high. I personally don't hesitate b/c of price - I just never know when or if they'll be around again.
The AMCJ is a must if you can get your hands on it - assuming you like coffee stouts, that is .

Agree with most of the above... especially in regards to Soft Dookie, Imperial Biscotti Break, Aun Mas a Jesus, and Freudian Slip if you like Barleywines. He had a barrel-aged version at last year's Shelton Brothers Festival that was awesome!

But, aside from the beer, no one has yet mentioned that he's a damn nice guy! You can tell he's having fun with his beers and loves what he's doing. Very, very approachable guy. The dude to my left, however, a bit more aloof.

    Cheers!

Pricing is too high. Decent stuff, but personally I often overlook due to cost.

    Agree.

Back when we got good distro in PHX, I would post alot of what I drank of his on Twitter and he'd re-tweet or reply to almost all of them. Thought that was pretty damn cool...

I'll echo their dark beers are typically pretty good, but some of their beers have ridiculous prices ($14.99 for a 22oz IPA) and when that beer has a rAvg < 4 I really try to avoid getting tricked by the names/packaging.

That said, I had the williamsburg hipster last night and maybe I "don't get the joke" but it was not good at all. Big waste of something like $8.00 for a 12oz... why I bought it, I do not know. I followed it up w/ blackout porter and that redeemed my opinion though not my wallet

I've only had Ron and the Beast Ryan, but it was pretty damn good. I'd like to try others but they're just so pricey.
