It's because ky eagle is not allowed to distribute beer in markets where AB has its own distribution rights. The cities I am aware of where this is the case are Louisville and Etown. Poor choice for sweet water. Lexington is a good beer market but ky eagle has very little to offer outside Lexington. I'm guessing beer house and river city are bidding for Louisville rights.
I just toured the brewery this weekend and came back to find out that we (full disclosure I work for Liquor Mart) already had the product from KY Eagle. So I know you can buy it in Richmond and I'm sure Lexington right now.
I'm just curious if anyone else noticed that in the preview of Season 4 of The Walking Dead, they come across a pallett or two of Sweetwater IPA.
The show is filmed in GA so SweetWater has made an appearance more than once. If I was fighting zombies, I'd be just fine if that was the only beer available.
Red Brick has made several appearances as well. I went on a trip to Atlanta this past weekend and went on a SweetWater tour and paid Woodbury (aka Main Street in Senoia, GA) a visit.
