    Serious question - is it better to have access to such a wide variety of great beer, or is it better to not have access at all?

    My wallet says better to not have access, my heart says not so much.

    The brewer made the announcement last week at the pub while handing out free samples of heaven's gate.

    Sorry if I missed this, but is this hitting distribution at all? Or should I just forget that two of my favorite things ever (GI barrel aged stouts and H.P. Lovecraft) are being combined to a presumably glorious result?

    Word on the street was that is was going to go on tap for three straight Thursdays before the bottle release. Yesterday would have been the second Thursday. I know when I was at the first release it was only a 1/6 barrel keg so I bet it tapped out last night around 10 or even earlier. My quess its another 1/6 barrel will be on tap next Thursday before the bottles drop on Monday. If not, well you have a bunch of other goodies, including Heaven's Gate, to enjoy at the pub.

    Yeah, I just did some checking as well. Looks like the three Thursays thing isn't happening. Might tap tonight though per the comments above and Twitter.
