It was great meeting a few new BAs as well; Josh, Lee, Chuck, Nate, Nick, Joe (dude from Cali), and I'm sure plenty of other people I can't recall at the moment. I got to try almost everything I wanted, I did miss out on the Allagash Coolship Red because that went insanely quick. Great share though. The end was a bit of a blur which sucks because I had intended on helping clean up since I brought trash bags but it was taken care of before I noticed.

And the post-share at Rubio's was just as excellent. Thanks for having me over man. The Cantillon Rose De Gambinus was tasty as well. Then there was more Heady, and Peche Mortel. It just wouldn't end. Thanks for sharing those beers like it was nothing. I appreciate the generosity from everyone.

By the way Ben & Twins, thanks for breaking my glasses, you asshats.

I, at least, didn't break any of your glasses. The Rosens might have, since we talked about your previous... incidents, but I don't think so?

Meh... what's a good tasting without a few broken glasses? I was surprised mine made it (both of them), lol.

Sorry I didn't make it to Rubio's... but 3 hours of sleep combined with 4 hours of beer meant I was in dire need of sleep. Honestly, these big tastings are a bit much for me, lol.

Got the growler today I was expecting in the mail that was delayed, btw...

    Last Snow. Mmmmm.

I don't know if Joe, the dude who brought Chocolate Rain, is a member of the board or not, but if anyone knows how to get into contact with him let me know!

And I meant my Microsoft glasses, not my drinking glass.

As has been said, it was great seeing familiar faces again and meeting some new folks. I finally met Lutter and Chow! :sunglasses:

    Awesome bottle share, guys.

Hi UT-Alex, I met Joe and Jason through a mutual California friend who pinged me the night before and said they were coming in. Actually, Jason (who now lives in Dallas) provided the beer. I do have Joe's contact info. He said he doesn't really use BA, too busy drinking great beers!

Huge thanks to all... and a special thanks to JSR for being overly generous once again.

    Cheers!

    Thanks!

I'll probably chill out with big shares for the month of August, though I'll probably try to attend the Draught House one. So I'll see the masses again on Zwanze Day.

    Thanks, Lee!

Both of those guys were very generous. I figured you knew him somehow considering that gift you gave him before he left, haha.

Great guys for sure! And if they send what I think is coming, we'll have an insane bottle-share next time as well!

I think that might be the one I bought as an offering for y'all letting an Indiana lurker crash the bottle share.

Enjoy it with my complements regardless!

Oh, it's long gone, lol. Thanks though... I hadn't even seen the label for Viking Metal in person yet! If it had still been sealed, I would've found the owner, but time was running out on the carb! LOL

If I didn't want anyone else to drink it I wouldn't have set it down on the table.

    Hope you liked it!

I'm pretty sure the red mark on my face makes up for the shirt.

    Also, those beers were amazing.

Days later and I'm still thinking about all the new friends, great beers and good times we had. Thank you Jester King for having us once again. Thank you Rubio for hosting a post bottle share bottle share and thank you ladies for kissing each other. It was awesome.

I'm sad that no photos have ever appeared from this event. Bad form, gents. :slight_frown:
