I'm discussing a trade for a Nooner B2 growler (vanilla RareR). Anyone popped open one of these lately? Or have prior experience with RareR or others from there that are CP filled? Also, the BA told me the growler has been sitting in dark, cooler room, but has not been refrigerated.

Basically, if someone opened one of these after several months sitting at slightly better than room temp, let me know how it was.

    Thanks!

I haven't had this since release, but I've popped several pegs growlers that were months old and perfectly fine. Granted, it is a risk, but I think you'll be fine.

    :astonished: That's kind of weird.

But ones that weren't refrigerated and lying around in a cool-"er" room?

That should not affect a growler thats only 4 months old.

Just meaning it was in a basement room of some sort, not exposed to light, cooler than rest of house, etc.

Not the room with the bodies.

I had a growler of RareR from Dec about a month ago. I'm not sure of storage conditions but being the trader was from FL I doubt it was "cellar" temp. Possibly stored in the fridge but most likely room temp. It tasted great. If anything it was a little low on carbonation but not enough to bother me.
