I always preferred Long Trail's Pale Ale over their IPA but recently learned they're discontinuing it :slight_frown: Just want to know what other people's thoughts are on the matter. I've also heard more people preferring the Pale Ale over the IPA so I'm wondering why they chose to discontinue it?

NOOOOOOO!!!! I absolutely love their Pale Ale. Next to the Imperial Porter of their Brewmaster's series I think it is there best beer. This blows!

Long Trail has been my go to brewery for years. They have navigated me from the very beginning of my craft interests. I will always love them and continue to support them, but damn, this stinks.

PS: Hey Long Trail, if you replace it with a Czech Pils, Helles Bock, or German Lager I promise all will be forgotten ! Come on, do a sessionable lager for ya' boy!

I was at the brewery a couple weeks ago and they have a "lemon pepper kolsch." I believe it's just available on tap for now, and I didn't try it, but it sounds sort of interesting. The cocoa porter and cellar aged triple bag sounded more intriguing to try.

I had one yesterday at Pour Judgement in newport. The lemon pepper koelsch was pretty good, very very refreshing beer, the lemon pepper is very faint but adds just a bit of citrus and I wasn't sure if i could taste the pepper or if it was just the carbonation tickling my tongue. I really think it was a great summer beer.

That beer sounds great. I am a big fan of Kolsch and would love to try it. Fineout, I am assuming you had it on tap, yes?

Good in the bottle...very good on tap. It is gone from our warehouse but pollinator ( not much of a fan )was gone for a couple of years also, and they brought that back this year. I guess if enough people ask they may bring it back.

thanks for that bit of info! I wasnt aware that Pollenator was gone at a certain point. Guess I'll have to keep my eye out for a Pale Ale revival

That's a surprise since I thought the Pale ale was their flagship beer. Hopefully it will just be a re-branding/renaming and it will be released again at some point.
