    Did it get dumped?

Probably served the same fate as Splinter Tan, but God knows the brewer won't tell..

Talked with John a couple mos. ago. Would only say Splinter beers are coming. Did say all future Splinter beers will be corked and caged 375ml bottles available for in house consumption only, no take out.

I have been wondering what the future has in store for splinter releases since the relocation. That was unexpected.

We had a post on the boards from someone at Troegs when this topic was brought up in the Spring. I believe they said that Splinter Gold would be ready in late 2012/early 2013, but as with all things wild, you never know how long it will actually take. The last batch was put in barrels in early 2011. They also added that this batch was significantly larger than the first one.

This is just splitting hairs but I believe it was re-brewed and put into the barrels in April of 2010 which puts it currently passed the 2 year mark where batch 1 was bottled and sold. The "its ready when its ready" clause of course trumps all.

There was a teaser on facebook not too long ago where the brewers were "sampling some barrel aged beers." I assumed that to be gold and maybe others to see if they were ready/progressing.

Edit: here is a link to the last discussion/rumor mill that was started in february

Hold on kids, they are still coming. BTW - any talk of 375 ml only cannot be confirmed at this time.

Got a few little production hurdles to get over in the next few weeks and then we can start talking about Splinter releases.

Figured you'd chime in at some point, Ed. Looking forward to seeing what you all have in store. Wasn't a big fan of Splinter Black, but Blue was awesome.

How about on premise consumption only?

If I drive 3+ hours to get there, I'd like to bring 1 home...
