I think some can still be had out here. It's very tasty but hurts a little bit at $25 a bottle.

I need to do this for sure. One in particular is Deschutes, even though we don't get their full lineup.

Hi everyone, I created the map page. I'm really glad that people are finding it useful.

Definitely feel free to email me with updates via the link on the site. It's a painful process but I'm happy to help update the dataset if a brewery is definitely distributing (or definitely pulled out of) to your state.

I think you'll do pretty well offering some Odell, Russian River, Oskar Blues, and Avery. I would definitely suggest doing your first couple of trades with an established trader. Offer to ship first and try to keep the trade small-ish (i.e. don't try to ship 4 six-packs and 3 bombers for your first box). I would also recommend that you avoid offering to trade something that you don't have in your possession unless you are 100% sure you can get it. You'd be surprised how often the beer you need for trading that was just on the shelf yesterday is now suddenly impossible to find anywhere. Don't jump in too big at first...I'd recommend that you limit yourself to a couple of trades a month. Trading is addicting and is more expensive than a lot of addictions.

But, most importantly, welcome! Enjoy yourself, drink some great beer, and meet some great advocates. I'm in the Denver area if you ever need any help or advice.

    Cheers!

yeah, odell and RR alone will get you interesting stuff from all around the country.

as you get your feet wet, just keep the communication lines really open and ask any questions that come up. if people are dicks about it when you ask a "newb question," you don't want to trade with them anyway.

Thanks everyone for your advice and feedback! I think I'll post my first FT with: Crooked Stave Wild Wild Brett Orange, Crooked Stave Pure Guava Petite Sour, and 2 Pliny The Elders.

be very specific about asking for Cascade in many states it is a shelf turd and there are bottles that are 6 years or so old just stagnating. Also if you can get to it Casey trades very highly. And I would avoid the petite sours from Crooked stave and concentrate on things like WWB.

the best way to start your trading career is by buying instawhales from razzles and then immediately resell them and use the profit to buy more instawhales and boom! insta-cellar all your friends will be envious of.
