Has anybody else had this and what did you think? I tried it along with Pilot 2 and thought Collaboration III was by far the better of the two in terms of overall satisfaction. Pilot 2 I felt had a truly outstanding aroma but fell a little flat in delivering the flavor. I was impressed enough with Collaboration III overall that I bought a bottle and kinda wish I had bought more. Yep - cheap old Yankee me liberated a few more moths from my wallet...

I have not - if it turns up on shelves here I may check it out depending on how much it costs.

Collaboration Time I was about $6-7 in Maine, so I would think this would be priced comparably to Lunch. For those who've had it, does it drink closer to an APA or a saison?

Cool! I didn't remember hearing of Bluejacket until I looked them up online...now I remember reading the Washington Post article about their big ambitious brewery!

Picked up a bottle a few days ago but haven't tried it yet. On a side not, I had a vintage '12 Collaboration I on Saturday and was very impressed.

The Rising Tide in Damariscotta has it with a two bottle limit.

I had this beer a few days ago and thought it was awful and after a few sips it became a "plant pour". I haven't heard if the plants survived after being soaked in this crap.

I dunno if I'd call it a "plant pour" but definitely their weakest offering so far. Bland rye saison.

I thought it tasted like it should be used as a cleaning product.

Moment of weakness? Temporary insanity? Brainwashed? I don't know...stopped at the place, talked with some folks, read their "propaganda". Found the beers tasty in general (first time trying any) and dig what they are doing overall with their employees, community involvement, and sustainablity. And nice, shiny new stainless and a spotless production floor always elicit the Homer Simpson happy noises from me

I had this collaboration and found it pleasant enough that I considered picking up another if I run across it, but also featured in this thread are a vote for Bland and a vote for Awful.

A beer that speaks to the spectrum.
