Most excellent! And it's still in code? I know that at the Newton store we've still got a handful of the NEBCO quad, but they're all desperately out of code...

I live in NJ and I have recently seen both of the Smuttynose beers on the shelf. How can you not get those?

Any Founders special releases. I was unable to pick up Imperial Stout, Doom, Devil Dancer or KBS in my area. Of all places, I found Imperial Stout and Doom in Orchard Park NY.

I live in the Flint area. I have a few nice stores that sell out really quickly of the special releases. I found a gem in the Ann Arbor area that I think I shouldnt have a problem finding stuff at anymore.

Here in the Tri-Cities it would probably be Bluff Diver, an awesome, ultra hoppy DIPA from White Bluffs Brewing.

I was out of state on vacation when Short's released their Goodnight Bodacious earlier this summer, and it was gone from all of the stores when I got back. I stopped at 6 bottle shops within 20 miles of where I live, but came up empty. Short's has released some unique hoppy beers this summer, one right after the other and all relatively small batches, but I managed to get some of all of the others. Maybe next year I'll get some Goodnight Bodacious, if they brew that one again.

Hmm I can find Sea Hag all the time (and I do) my fridge self destructs when there is absence of NEBCO. There are a few shops near me that I know move it well and always have it relatively fresh.

Newton store always gets first dibs. So if anything, those are just leftover from old days that Brighton store didn't sell yet.

But personally, I don't understand why anyone would pay $20 for Imperial Stout Trooper - regular imperial stout. Or is it more than that now?

Regarding Smuttynose bomber series: those are rotational beers. I don't know when you started looking, but you probably just missed the latest release - they are not that limited and were fairly easy to find. You'll get them next time around

Hahaha no, still $19.99...admittedly slightly less than that with my discount, but still admittedly a hefty chunk o' change. Maybe I'll just round up some friends, make the trip down to Connecticut myself...

Re Smuttynose: Only when I started working at Marty's, so just about six weeks ago. As you say, I probably just missed 'em...I'll keep my eyes open

Lastly...you sound like you've had a certain amount of experience with the Marty's system...you a former employee? Or just long-time customer?

15 minutes from Foothills, and haven't been able to get BBA Sexual Chocolate. Even the non BA isn't "easy" to find in a bottle.
