Two Hearted in my neck of the woods is $10.99 a six pack, and I just picked up two 4 packs of 2012 BCBS in NY for $23.99 - the rest are in line what what I've seen.

These are close to or are normal prices, especially for DC.

I've never even seen a BCBS in person so I'd gladly pay $25 for a 4 pack of it. Hell, I paid that just to trying out BA Siberian Night because of my like of the BA Stouts. The others are in line with PA prices so they don't even seem uncommon to me.

Like others have said, it depends on where you are. Here in the northern 'burbs of NYC, all of those prices seem reasonable to me, including the ones that I can't get around here that other people have picked up for me. Enjoy!

^ This! Not bad at all. Don't worry about it. It mostly depends on what part of the country you live in. That all seems about right along with what I would find stuff for around here. Except for the locals like Founders and Bells. You did fine man, now enjoy!
Also, people like to come around here and flaunt their low prices, but it's all according to where you live. Can't do anything about that except relocate for cheap beer...

I paid $30 for a 4 pack of BCBS (philly) when it came out. That's cheaper than I paid and it's aged!

$11.99 seems high for 2-hearted also, but that is going to vary by state due to tax laws. I think my local has it for $10.49.

Bcbs is a little high but for that caliber of beer its no biggie. I would've pulled the trigger.

That's a good price on the Corruption nowadays actually, there's a thread about in in Mid-Atl sub-forum.

BCBS if I saw it on the shelf @ $24.99 today I'd have a hard time saying no, and I have a bunch in my basement already. If you've never had 2-hearted and got your hands on BCBS I'd say you're way ahead of the curve.

Pour one of those babies into a monster snifter and see how long you can go just taking in the aroma before taking a sip.

As far as I can tell you paid about 65 bucks for a good bit of world class beer you've never tried. Sounds like your the one who did the screwing! I mean, what's 65 bucks? A tank of gas? Enjoy!

THIS! I just went to a bar in Philly and paid $8 for 8oz glass of BCBS on tap...that was with a $1 off for HH. It's something I've never had before and I absolutely loved it. RuinTEN are $12 or $13+ tax in Philly for a 22oz bottle. Drafts are cheaper, but you have to really look for them.

I savor and enjoy beers and will gladly pay premium for something I haven't had before, but heard a lot about. I would have dropped 15eur and more for a Westy 12 in a heartbeat!

Ok, enough with all these braggings and falsehoods. None of you paid, gladly or otherwise, 24.99 for a 4-pack of BCBS. I repeat NONE.

    Note to AB-InBev:

Please note that these prices are figments of our beloved BA's imaginations. Please pay no attention to this thread, and continue pricing your products as competitively as you can. In fact, I hear that the price of $18.99 for 4 bottles of beer is quite extreme considering that your other equally honorable and noteworthy products are priced at less than $1 a bottle. I would be great if you could please price your BCBS accordingly so we can all continue to appreciate your commitment to quality, excellence, and availability. Thank you!

C'mon, people, put a little thought into this!

Prices of beer vary across the US based on lots of factors, including shipping and state taxes. A beer from your home state is likely going to cost less for you than if it's shipped across several states. So, unless you live close to the OP (Maryland) the prices you pay are pretty much meaningless in the context of whether the OP got "ripped off" or not.

Don't know average pricing for the Bells or DC, but I don't see any of those as being off the realm of reality.
The only one that's really high may be the BCBS, though it is a year old - some places charge a premium for pre-aged. I got 2 packs of it this year and paid $18.99 for one and $22.99 for the other. I think I averaged out OK.
I know some places around here were charging the $25 for it fresh, so it's not that bad.
