Those prices are almost identical to what we pay in Richmond, VA. BCBS was $24.99/4pk, Ruinten was the same, Two Hearted I haven't bought in a while and is pretty abundant (big box grocery stores) - it may be a couple bucks cheaper here.

Whole Foods Union Sq. in NYC was selling BCBS for $6.99 per bottle as recently as 2 weeks ago. 9/20/12 bottling.

Cleveland area does have some fantastic beers, but I don't think they are very unknown at all. Their craft beer rep is pretty good, far better than that of the city itself . I kid, I kid.

    In Iowa generally:
    BCBS: $19.99
Bells 2H: $9.99-11.99 (can almost always find for $9.99)
    Founders Cent: $8.99-10.99
DC Brau: No idea if we get this.
    Stone Ruinten: $5.99 - $6.99.

Move to Chicago and you'll repost this thread as "Check out the bargains I got on this great beer!" I saw BCBS around here for $24.99 - $39.99 / 4 Pk when it was released. Seems like more and more 6 packs are $11.99+ in the area, too.

Upstate...and I could totally be wrong. It was like 6 months ago and my memory is fuzzy but I *believe* it was right around $20/per and I thought it was a touch under.

my mind is a smidge fuzzy as well... but I mentally put them in the mid-20's... maybe I'm wrong and I saw a pack at some time for $23? but definitely not 22.

Yeah, I had high expectations of that one. Personally, I don't like my DIPA's to be over 10%. There are some exceptions, but by and large I think the alcohol and the malt tend to get in the way of the hops. I like my very high abv's to be darker in nature (RIS, etc.). I think the booziness contributes to the flavors better. Pretty subjective, I know. And I know it's a great beer. Just not my cup. Cheers.

Insignifcant few dollars difference for some world class brews. If time is money though, it cost you more to start this thread. IMO Bells 2 hearted is a great example of a floral IPA. Cheers.
