    A non growler discussion!

I read an article about this place in Celebrator. Has anyone been to this new brewery? Thoughts?

I went last week. It's pretty close to Folsom Lake. It's in a shopping center which was a little weird. The space was small but was pretty cool. Had a little window where you could see the operation and their barrels. Their best IMO were their Summer IPA and their American Brown which reminded me a lot of SN Tumbler.

I'll have to check it out the next time I'm visiting family down there.

    Cheers!

This is by far the best brewery in sacramento. The summer and fall ipa are on point and they have an array of beers on tap blondes on nitro saisons belgians and sours coming soon.

I've now gone twice to this brewery. It's a little hard to find but well worth the search! The fall IPA is great! I thought the blonde on nitro was a great idea and makes for a really sessionable beer. The tripel is phenomenal and well worth the trip alone. I was given a small taste of the brewers Flanders red and it knocked my effing socks off. It's one of my favorite styles (and my girlfriends favorite) so I've had ever one that I've been able to get my hands on (A lot). This is top 3 that I've ever tried, without a doubt. An American style sour (nice sour punch) that's really special. Those sours are going to be coveted when they come out!

Haven't had their commercial offerings, but the owner (Mike Mraz) was an incredibly good homebrewer and was very well known for his sours and belgian ales.

The article mentioned his excellent homebrewing skills. I guess he's won many contests/awards for it.

Yep, hes won a lot and with very good beers. Its always fun to get to try someone's beers that have beaten your's in competitions (or vice versa  ).
