I've seen that guy's setup on HomeBrewTalk. Completely bad ass.

"The shed has wi-fi, air conditioning, a sweet sound system, and a flatscreen with cable. On nice days, Bowen and his guests have a pint by the fire pit on the stone patio out back."

    Very nice:slight_smile:

"Bowen refuses to go commercial, which he claims would take the fun out of brewing."

    Word:grinning:

"churn out 10-gallon batches" "only five years old and has already churned out over 300 batches of beer"

I sure hope he brewed a few 1 gallon test batches:flushed:

I noticed this, as well. Sounds like he could be way over the 200 gal/yr PA homebrew limit.

Just a guess - he's single and has no career obligations (lottery winner, inheritance, ...). And lots of friends!

Very cool! This seems a bit dubious though: Money Invested: $3,500

No way. I would be really surprised if it were less than 10k to build that brewery. The brewstand, fridge, hood, lab, etc. Maybe just the brewstand for 3,500.

But that is awesome. Would love to have something like that some day.

Yeah my equipment is about 3,500 now and i just have a Top Tier, 6 kegs, A 4 tap tower kegerator and some other random crap. That set up is at least 15,000

3500 for the brewstand alone is my guess...even so, dude went all-in. Definitely leaves me with questions though, really, 3-piece ball valves on the pump outlets & why the tri-clamp sight glass so far from the wort chiller/O2 system...and what the hell kind of hoses does he have!?
Damn it's sweet, would love to see more pics.

That was my first thought as well! I would not go posting that I am breaking the law all over the web. Sounds like a good way to get "The Man" involved in your hobby.

If that entire setup cost him $3,500 I'd have two in my backyard.

Ehh I feel like "The Man" already would already have too much on their plate to bother with a homebrewer, and if they don't, they still need solid proof that he brewed over 200 gallons. I doubt it would be worth their resources to stake him out every time he brewed.
